During one of Carolina A. Herrera’s trips to the United Arab Emirates, she had the privilege of attending an oud burning ceremony – an experience that changed her understanding of perfumery forever.

In this time-honored ritual, the wood of the agarwood tree is burnt to release its fragrant resin, filling the room with a sweet and intense perfume.

True Oud recreates this sacred ceremony and celebrates one of the most precious and fascinating ingredients in the world.
